God uses everything to talk to me… and once in awhile I hear.

I was watching a reality show last night.  It was a dysfunctional business, like a lot of businesses.  Some employees were stealing, some hated being there at all, and others couldn’t make the tough decisions and people walked all over them.  At first I was angry.  How could they steal from their employer?  Why is this guy on a job he obviously hates?  Why is she such a wimp?  Why don’t they take any responsibility?

As the show went on, I began to look at my own life; I stole from employers, maybe not money, but I loafed a lot and didn’t give them my best, I bad mouthed places that I worked at to other employees and pretty much anyone that would listen (in very subtle ways of course), I was a boss and kept employees on that I know needed to go.  So I am every one of these people… we are the same.

The show’s mc made each person see that there was a higher purpose than their own selfish desires or feelings, it was about making it work…for everyone.  Each needed to step up and take responsibility for their actions… or get out.  It wasn’t about complying, it was about commitment and, dare I say ‘caring”.

I went to sleep last night and woke up in this morning, thinking;  why am I not living the life I want, why am I giving lousy excuses for not living my dream, why am I talking trash about other people, why am I allowing people to take up space in my life when I know they shouldn’t be there?

So here’s what I saw in the show and, one more time, in my own life.  First there is awareness, that I’m the problem.  Second I have to pause, and feel that, own it.  Third, I have to ask, ‘What is the right thing here?’ no bull.  Fourth, be honest with the answer I receive.  Fifth, I have to trust, by taking the action necessary toward what I received, no excuses.

These are universal principles that are always true, God keeps showing me them over and over again, in different ways, because I keep falling into the error of my old thinking.  It is only from our experience of what doesn’t work that most of become willing to look at what does.  (We learn best from our mistakes) In some areas we are in perfect alignment with these principles and other areas… we have a lot to learn.  It’s progress not perfection.

The overriding principle that allows for growth is; it’s not about us individually.  When we come from the group as a whole, whatever group that is, business, family, team, church, or whatever, it allows us to get out of our self-centeredness enough to receive inspiration from whatever is there when our egos are out of the picture.

It is living from our connection to the group that we gro-up!

Creation or distortion?

I was told recently to lighten up… not the first time I’ve heard that… but something was different.  Wear bright colors… laugh a lot… cut out the red meat and junk food… eat more veggies… try to eat organic.   Let me ask you a question;  who doesn’t know that?  It only makes sense, everybody knows that.

Another thing that came up for me at the same time was meditation… hell I been trying to meditate off and on all my life… again, everybody knows this stuff is good for you.  Seems like my life, the universe, God, situations, something, keeps coming back to these simple things… and basically I’ve said ‘no’ to them on a pretty regular basis, not that I want to admit to it, but honestly that’s what I’ve been doing.

This time, so far, I started to look at it a little differently… maybe cause I’ve spent a very small time in meditation, I don’t know.  Anyway, a title to a movie I’ve never seen keeps popping up in my head; The Unbearable Lightness of Being.  In my meditations I’ve been ‘seeing’ that ideas flow from the source of everything… they are like air, actually lighter than air… shear lightness of being… these ideas of love and light, light up in my mind…  my mind works with the light and makes it dense, kind of solidifies ideas into thoughts… the thoughts get more dense as they move into the physical world called my body… my body then moves the dense material around to create what my thought of the idea looks like, creating the world as I see it.  It’s creation working through me, creating my reality.

When I have struggles or ‘problems’ in my life it is because I am trying to make changes from the dense material world, but that is not how creation works.  Life gets heavy, problems seem real, life is a struggle, I can’t feel the joy, the love, I feel separated from God, and I create a distorted reality, I don’t have time to eat right, so I eat,  fast junk food, I’m always busy trying to catch up so I don’t have time to meditate or pray.  Even when I do pray it’s often selfish or done hastily in compliance mode.

So I need to remember it’s all light and love.  Creation allows for it to become a physical experience.  When I’m in pain or problems I just need to lighten it up… be enlightenment… and not get caught up in distorted reality.  In the world I can do those things I already know to do;  eat right, see the colorfulness of life, and laugh at the joy underneath it all and most of all… live from the unbearable lightness of being!  Thank you God!!

Amend: I am-end… closure, the past tense of amen

Did you ever have someone who was very difficult for you to deal with, yet they just seemed to be there, always.  For some reason you didn’t throw them away.  Everyone else did… but you just can’t seem to do it.  It’s like you can see their goodness when others can’t.  So, you learn to protect yourself… yet still be there for them.  You always tell them the truth you see in them; you learn that anger doesn’t work here.  Why would you get angry at a sick friend?  Often you think; ‘they’re draining the life right out of me’ and then you remember… there is no end to love, it’s infinite, it’s like the air we breathe.  I never worry about having enough; it’s everywhere…  so you dig a little deeper.   It’s a mystery to you, where the words come from, but somehow, even when you don’t think you have any…  they’re there.  At times like these the gratitude just wells up inside you and you recognize what a gift this person is to you because you can feel that loving presence become who you are… unconditional love… no requirements… agape love…  and you weep like a baby.

As you learn to detach yourself and just offer the truth with no expectations… sometimes they change; the ones that can… and then there are the other type that can’t change.  They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way.  One way or another, they leave you.   But they are never really gone.  They have become a part of you… a very powerful and important part, for they have helped  you remember unconditional love, the only true love, agape love, God love.  Once we remember who we truly are, we are never satisfied with anything else, and it changes us forever.

I had such a person in my life, maybe many, but this one I didn’t throw away.  He is gone… yet he remains, still helping me wake up from my nightmare of separation.  I remember him coming over to my house time and time again…  the endless phone calls, sometimes ten or more a day… the opportunities he gave me to remember who I am… every time I answered the call.  How my mind would struggle to surrender the story I made up about how much work this guy was…  I’m sure I wasn’t always loving… he’d often ask me “why do you put up with me Paulie”.  And God would use me to talk to him about unconditional love… again.

Like most things in life, I didn’t know what was happening when it happened; I only got to look at in retrospect.  I hurt a lot of people in my life, some on purpose but mostly it was collateral damage done by an injured mind.  In recovery, I try to repair the damage done as I go through the steps, and this is as it should be, but the real amends happens when I’m not looking.  God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.  I got to make amends for some of my past through my friend.  As It turned out he got to make some amends to his family and me through a life insurance policy. He gave me the ability to make financial amends to the people I owe, and pay my portion of my daughter’s college education, something I would not have been able to do otherwise.

I used to wonder: Why is it that I don’t go to my creator for everything in my life instead of trying to ‘figure it out’ in my mind?   Well… here I am… three months after my friend passed away, in a Conversations with God retreat, paid for by the money from my friend…  listing to God speaking through Neale Walsch… explaining exactly why that is.  I put it here in my own words:

In order for God to experience himself in.. as… and through me… there needs to be a conceptual field that contains the opposite of that.  Where my body and mind are at, in relation to my soul (which knows exactly who I am), determines how strong (how seemingly real) the conceptual field appears in order for me to become aware of divinity… as me.  Whatever it takes for me to wake up, and recognize my divinity, whether its seemingly major problems… or maybe just the memory of that feeling of separation.  The sooner I realize…  “it’s just the field I’m looking at, not the reality” … the sooner I live… and recognize divinity… but without the conceptual field… there is nothing other than divinity… all there is… so divinity would not be able to experience itself as that.  Divinity needs the appearance of something that is not to have experience of what it is.

By loving my friend, which seemed to me to be a problem at first, I now see that he represented the field to me.  Divinity, as me could see that his bi-polar behavior was not who he was, it was just his conceptual field.  As I began to look for (real eyes) the divinity in him, and ask for the divinity in me for the words to speak to him… the field would collapse… often bringing one or both of us to tears.  For me, the tears were of ecstasy of the presence of God that moved through us.  And in that moment we are both healed, only in that moment of now.  But it is always now.

When I ask God why anyone would have to have bi-polar disorder… I saw that we all do… we go from believing in separation to realization of our divinity all the time… we’ve been living in a world of duality and we are evolving to real eyes we are triad beings, soul mind and body.  My mind is not for figuring out my soul, it is for carrying out my soul’s agenda.  The truth is my friend represented the conceptual field for everyone he came in contact with; just as we all do for each other.

As another wonderful “bringer of the light”, Stephen Covey, says;  “between stimulus and response there is a space, in that space lies my freedom to choose my response, in my response is my freedom and my happiness”.

The soul’s agenda… it really is ‘the Only Thing That Matters’.  Thank you Neale!

When are you going to enjoy your life?

In the documentary film, ‘I am’ by director Tom Shadyac, he asks the question, “what is wrong with the world and how do we fix it?”  That is without doubt the most important question we can ask, but where and how do we start?

I have another question, “When am I going to be happy?”, actually that’s not the question, because I’m happy when I get what I think I want, but it never lasts.  The real question is “when am I going to be joyful”, full of joy?  And the answer is… when I re-cognize that ‘who’ “I am”, is already joyous!  Joy is not outside of me.  Love is not outside of me.  Passion is not outside of me.  Nothing that is real is outside of me.  My only problem is that I have failed to recognize these things, but that does not mean they are not there.  Well if that’s true then why don’t I feel it, you ask?

First we have to recognize the way we’re doing it doesn’t work.  It’s easy to see, the world as we made it, isn’t working.  We’re going to have to do things a little differently.  We’re going to need a method that works.

Where’d it all come from?

Look around at everything you see.  How did it all come about?  If you look, you’ll find that everything started with an idea.  The idea got developed in the mind of whatever created it.  And finally became something physical by some action in the material world.  Everything that ever came into existence came as a result of that formula, including us.  So there is an order form to creation.  If there is an order form to creation then there must be an order form for our lives as well… and it’s the same  form (creation in-form-a-tion).

What’s wrong with the world?

What’s wrong with the world?  We never developed our relationship to common sense.  What is our common sense you ask?  Our common sense is the “idea” instilled (inwardly stilled) in us, of who we are, our connection to our source.  We “thought” we could disconnect ourselves from that which created us and we made ourselves into mini-gods, each trying to run the world, according to our various beliefs.  Yet none of our imaginings has any effect on that which created us.

How do we learn?

As children, we learned that our resistance to gravity had no effect on it, but by co-operating with it, it allowed us to accomplish many things.  So too, we can learn that by co-operating with our creator’s idea of who we are, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.  (“experience is the best teacher”)

How do we change?

This is transformational living, living from a new perspective, and the old beliefs don’t die easy, so we need a system that we can utilize to get us back on track when we wander off in our imaginings.  We will need to …. take it A.P.A.R.T…. so it can come together.

A.P.A.R.T. is a method that can be used to co-operate with the system (order form) that is already present.  APART is an acronym for Awareness, Pause, Ask or acknowledge, Receive or remember, and Trust or take action.  This method can be used by anyone and will work every time, even if you don’t recognize or believe it.  Why, because these are universal truths, principles, that never fail, in the proper order.  But don’t take my word for it… try them out… try them repeatedly…. They cannot fail to connect you if you apply them in your life.  (I don’t have to believe in gravity to co-operate with it… but, it gets painful when I don’t… and my world expands when I do)

We facilitate workshops and presentations for groups or individuals to help you experience these truths.  Using metaphor, creativity, and group participation we can experience these truths in a group setting!  We were created as a group and so we gro-up together!

Self-evident Truths

We hold these truths to be Self-Evident… that all men are created equal…but why don’t we live that way?  The self we’ve been using is the smaller self.  It’s the person we think we are, with all the vast intelligence and self-centered, ego fed crap that we say we “believe”.  The illusive character behind the scenes that causes all our problems.  The mind powered computer that disconnects us from the truth of who we are, with all of it’s logic, schemes, and plans.  And yet, with all that.. we all, still know… at least on some level…no one should go hungry… we shouldn’t hurt each other.  Basic truths, we all know, but not from our mind, the source of the smaller self… but from our Soul… the higher Self.

It doesn’t take a genius to see we are all disconnected from our souls.  We’ve gone so far over board in developing our intellect, we’ve totally forgotten, who we really are.   Self-Evident truths never change… but we can refuse to re-cognize them… which we have all done… otherwise we’d be living them.  To go up against the norm is tough… it’s easier, we think, at least for the time being, to just go along with the game… make sure I get my share (although it’s always a little short of what I think I want)… and not think about how unbalanced it is.  But it’s getting late for all of us.   We are killing our chances of surviving as a species.  Oh, I know, it sounds so dramatic!  But the truth is so simple… we just won’t apply it!

It’s gonna take all of us, but it starts with just a few… how do we get connected?  We have been living apart for so many generations…. how do we go from living apart to being a part?  Equal parts of the One whole.

My friend Noel and I were inspired to create a workshop series on just how to re-member(become a member once again) of who we really are.  We call it: taking it A.P.A.R.T. so it can come together.  Living from Self-Evident truths is a lot easier than “thinking about it”.  When we be who we are, what we do is in harmony… when we think we’re what we’re not, we only do harm.

We have a unique and fun way of re-presenting truths in which participants actual experience them…  it’s not just information…  it’s application.  And that makes all the difference!

If you’d like to try a workshop send us your email and we’ll put you on our mailing list for workshops in your area.  And if you’re in the southern California area and would like to do a workshop for your organization, event, or group, please, email me your information and I’d be happy to talk to you about what we do.  paul@possidude.com

It’s Time to … get yourself connected!

Recreation (take five)

Here’s what five minutes of meditation brought me this morning.

My thought life is unmanageable.  There is no way I can be satisfied by what my mind comes up with by itself.  What does that mean?  It means I am more than my mind.  Who I am is a three-part being, soul, mind, and body.  Because I never developed my soul, I try to figure out my life with my mind alone… bypass my soul…  and take action with my body.  I’m constantly chasing my tail.  I have to let go of my thoughts and allow who(?) I am, to be there.  The spiritual man.

Nothing I know from the neck up will save me.  What am I being saved from?  My mis-taken beliefs of who, “I think”, I am!

I get quiet…  use my words… to ask that presence… that is who… I am… to stop my thoughts… move into my heart…  feel that presence beating my heart…  breathing my breath.  When I feel that presence…  I am open to receive…   ideas…  flowing from my source… which inspires (inwardly spirits) my mind…  to create that which I am here to create.  My mind… is myend… of the one mind (of God).  When I pause…  and re-member who, I am…  creation expresses itself through me…  to create…  in harmony with other myends…  the world…  as creation intends it to be.

Now that I am in my heart…  inspirit-a-tion is flowing in…  as…  and through me.  I can take action…  using my body and mind, in the physical world…  to put these words on paper… to re-mind you…  to re-member…  who you are.  However, I’m still new at this.  I have an undisciplined mind… it runs on its own… most of the time… I disconnect from inspiration… the source of my creation… all day long…  and try to live on myend power alone.  When that happens…  I experience pain… discomfort… negativity… I have temporarily forgotten who I am.  I need you…whoever you are…  to re-mind me… of who… I am.  We are not a-lone, we are all-one!  We need… each… other.   Let’s co-operate and re-create together…  the world…  as it was always intended to be.

Join us for a little recreation… as we utilize percussion instruments in a drum circle setting to re-cognize, how to get, and stay, connected… both  individually… and collectively… to the one whole…

Send your email address to paul@possidude.com to get on our mailing list.  We’ll let you know where, in the southern California area, you can “get yourself connected”.

Till then just… take five……

How to Change the World

We are a nation, a world for that matter, of consumers and to that extent we are all self-absorbed.  Our own desires come first.  We have lost our connection to our group, the group called human beings.

I’m not saying we can’t have stuff, but how much is enough?  Instead of looking at those that have more and asking how can I get that?  We might try looking at those that have less and ask, how can I best help balance it out a bit, in some small way?  And I don’t mean donating cash to try to buy our way out of looking at the problems the world faces.  I’m talking, actually going and looking at one of those problems face to face and asking, what would the right thing to do be?  How might I make a tiny difference?

I believe we don’t look or ask those questions because we can’t see an answer at first glance, so we don’t think there is one.  Then we get overwhelmed and refuse to look because it hurts.  We go back to our separated lives and try to buy more stuff to fill the hole where the hurt is; the new car, home, TV, cell phone, or whatever.  It seems to work for a while, but if you’re honest with yourself, you know it doesn’t last.  We always need a better one or the new one that just came out.

Imagine this:

Whenever we want to make a purchase for x amount, we are required to go look at one of society’s problems first.  Really look at the problem and ask ourselves what should we do about this?  From all the ideas that people come up with, only those that would benefit everyone get entered into a database.  The database stores them by topic and everyone that looks at that topic has access to all of the existing ideas.  Each person then would either add to an existing idea or present a new one.  In this way we would find solutions together based on what benefits everyone in the group…  all of us.

If you still decide to buy the new whatever it is, you would have at least taken a serious look at how you might help, which starts the change from self-centered to group centered behavior.  Even that little bit helps connect us to each other.  No one is going to come up with an answer…  it must come from all of us!

It’s a beginning….

Money?

Money is the value we give things based on a world that believes it can own what it did not create.  It starts with the ego’s idea of separation, my house, my car, my job, my partner, etc.  The word “my” separates us.  We see ourselves as different and go about life identifying the differences and forget who we are, (equal parts of the whole).  Interesting that we use the word “money” to try and combine the separated self ‘my’ and the connected Self ‘one’ to create an illusionary value.  No matter how we try we cannot separate ourselves from who we are.  There is only One and that One simply is ….

we either have (my) or we are (one)

It’s time to re-member who we are…  re-mind each other…  and act accordingly!

Just Give Up! (and begin again, new)

Aren’t you tired of working so hard…  trying to do better… trying to change… trying to get ahead… ahead of what?  Who?  Where are you going?  Do you think you’ll be happy when and if you get there?  It’s exhausting, isn’t it?  Is life supposed to be this hard?   Why don’t you just give up?

I know, that’s absurd, we can’t just give up…  can we?  But what if the problem is…   we just started from the wrong place?  What if…   why it isn’t working is because we started out wrong?  If that’s the case…   no matter what we do we can’t win, can we?  There’s no peace to be found, anywhere.  It’s a hard pill to swallow, I know, but think about it for a second…   if your thinking is off from the get go…  any ‘idea’ you come up with will be off too.  It’s no wondering the systems we’ve created, political, healthcare, penal, you name it, don’t work.  We started out wrong.  Any attempt to repair a system that doesn’t start from truth will fail.  So why don’t we just give up and start over?  Of course the mind will balk at such a proposal.  Our ‘thinking’ will dismiss this whole concept as ridiculous.  (if you continue reading this, consider yourself fortunate…  most won’t…  the authority of self doesn’t like to be questioned)

We’re raised to believe, you never, give up!  It’s our culture, if we give up we lose, we’re told.  Apparently at times, that seems true.  Here’s the question:  Is there a higher reality than apparent reality?  Is there a higher truth than what is apparent to us?  Our minds tell us no…   if I can’t see it, it’s not true.  But, aren’t we more than our minds?  Maybe it’s time we questioned that authority?

What if…   everything we will ever need we already have?  Is that possible?  Don’t think!  Just consider… is it possible that maybe we don’t know something, right from the outset, and if we knew that something consciously, everything would change?  Consider what that might mean in terms of the way we look at our life.  If you had access…  within yourself…  to answers, to any question you could possibly ask, related to your experience of life…  there would be no cause for worry, fear, anxiety, anger, jealousy, or greed…  no need to condemn or defend.

You do have that access, we all do, it is our birthright.  There are many methods available to help us live that experience.  Some involve many years of study just to make a beginning.   I’d like to offer a very simple one here, but don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself, see if it isn’t true in your experience.

Because we tried to build our life having the feeling that something was missing and we didn’t know what it was, and no one told us about it…  at least not in a form we could use.  Our foundation was insecure and that’s how we grew…  insecure.  (something’s missing and we just need a little more)

We can learn, however, to take it A.P.A.R.T. so it can come together.  I didn’t say make it happen, I said it can come together.  It can and will do it on its own.  All true paths are about removing the blocks we have created to the awareness of the presence of who we really are.

The first part in this process is:   Awareness, that something is missing.  The main indicator of awareness is pain, sometimes pleasure but primarily pain.  We don’t like a situation, person, or thing that is being presented to us… this can take unlimited forms.

Awareness does not come from the mind, it comes from something else.  That something goes by many names, the watcher, the witness, or higher self.  We all experience awareness, we just don’t often recognize it as a gift, and we fail to utilize it, so we become unconscious of it.  It’s still there we just aren’t conscious of it.  (It may be the death of a loved one… or you can’t pay the rent… it could be anything that produces the pain.)  The pain re-presents an opportunity to re-member once again, who and what, we really are.  The pay-in is the still small voice with-in, saying…   I am all of this event but this event is not all I am.  Behold, that is, just be…  feel what you need to feel…  let it go…  don’t freak out…  you’ll get through this even though you don’t think so…  and hold onto the knowing that I am with you always and in all ways.

The mind balks at this idea and may say something like; “How do I utilize this ‘gift’ of awareness, I’m in pain dammit…  what are you talking about?”.  So, awareness, as awesome as it is, doesn’t seem to do much good on its own, but it is absolutely required.

That leads us to the second part:  Pause.  Stop whatever activity, speech, and thoughts you are having.  I’m not talking ten seconds; I’m talking about sitting quietly, connecting with your breath (or anything else you have no control over or didn’t create) until you become still… calm.  Once we become still, it brings us into the present moment.

Only when we are present can we begin a conversation with that part of ourselves that is awareness.  By clearly identifying our concerns, we can Ask our question, only in relation to what, if any, our next step might be.

Sitting in the stillness, not thinking, we will Receive an answer, an insight, a thought, idea, or something.  It’s important to remember that what we receive, in all probability, will not make sense to our mind because…  it didn’t come from our mind.

The last part of the process is to Trust, what you receive, (if it’s not injurious to anyone) by taking action on it.  Will you make mistakes?  Absolutely, but by repetition, a living relationship with the truth in you is being built.

These principles applied, in that order, are what begin the process of living from a new starting point.  We begin to rely on who we really are instead of who we think we should be.  They work each and every time in that order form.  Why?  We’ve been living at the effect things have on us and we have to stop, and  be(at)cause, not effect:

…  there’s nothing to Trust if we don’t receive anything new… we can’t Receive anything new if we don’t ask… we won’t Ask if we don’t pause and let go of everything we “think” we know… we won’t Pause unless we have the awareness we need to… and we don’t become Aware unless we’re in some form of pain.

No belief is necessary, just a willingness to try the process.  The more passion, we apply to living these principles the more who we really are is revealed and a brand new world opens up to us, each and every day!

Contamination – Hazardous Thinking

I took a HazMat training course for a company I once worked for.  One of the things I remembered is the statement that;  “dilution is not an acceptable form of disposal”.  The premise being that contamination still exists, although only in a minuscule amount and it has the potential to grow and multiply rapidly.  Without treatment the hazard is still there.

I’ve heard it said that if you keep pouring clean water in a container of dirty water, eventually it will become clear and clean.  However, according to science, it’s still contaminated.  Another way to put it is “if you start out from contamination and don’t treat it properly, it still exists, even though you might not be able to see it”.  Having a choice, it’s a no brain er to drink from a pure source rather than one that’s contaminated.

What we’re really talking about here is the principle of contamination.  Once something has become contaminated it needs to be treated or it can’t be used without further contamination.

What about our minds?  Haven’t we contaminated our minds with some of the thoughts we have?  We have so many mistaken ideas and wrong beliefs in our mind.  Is it any wonder the world is in the shape it’s in?  So what do we do… we try to have good thoughts…  we pour good thoughts into our mind… positive thoughts…  our thinking becomes clearer…   we feel better…  things seem to be clearing up…  but… according to the rule of dilution, our minds are still contaminated. Often it only takes one bad event…  one wrong thought…  and we start that troubled thinking again.  The virus, bacteria, or contaminates grows.  It multiplies rapidly until we’re back to toxic contamination, and negative thinking again.  So, you ask, how can we treat this mind to get rid of the contamination?  The answer is we can’t.

We have to start with a new container, an open mind.  A mind not occupied by our thoughts.  The good news is; there is, within each of us, a clear stream or pool of uncontaminated consciousness that we can go to for clean, clear inspiration.  It can’t be contaminated by the world; it is the essence of all that we are.  All that’s required is a letting go of the contaminated container, a simple request, and an openness to receive what comes.  A new container (like when you partition off a section of your hard drive because your computer has become corrupted) filled from a pure source and a living from that new container.  The corrupt container is still there, you just no longer use it.  We have a tendency to go back to the contaminated container because it’s so familiar to us.  It’s all we’ve ever known.  We can tell however, when we use the wrong container…   it just doesn’t feel right.  Every time that happens…  I mean every time….. just stop…. become quiet and ask.  That’s all it takes……

As we build an awareness that we’re using the wrong container we become more willing to surrender the corrupt thinking and begin again, new, from purity.  It has been described as being born again…  the living waters…  the water of life… Zen mind…  Christ consciousness…  and countless other names.  It is the surrender of the contaminated, corrupt, world view and the recognition of, and surrender to, the pure, divine consciousness that has always been there underneath our corrupt thinking.

Taking it A.P.A.R.T. so it can come together is a method that, when applied, treats contamination of thoughts.  Awareness of mistaken thin king; Pause and become still; Ask for peace, inspiration; Receive something (the most commonly used name for God); Trust, take action on what you received.
